I don't personally know of a USB-C version of this tool, which is why I'm hesitant to ding it too much for Micro-USB. The twist version in the OP basically turns the pistol grip one into this style 6LS?th=1 So the OP version can change between the two styles. If I could line up the drill that is positioned upside down and still hold the screw driver parallel with the floor, and have it work out which way is tightening it without having to use a lot of spatial skills to figure out which direction is clockwise, etc., that would be great. The one feature I'm also curious about is if any of these wireless screwdrivers would enable me to rotate the drill bit 90 degrees, so that I can turn screws in a situation where there isn't enough clearance for me to be directly in-line with the screw I am driving. And I don't find myself doing it that often, but when I need to I think it would lead to a lot less fumbling around. I really do want one of these for "putting together junk you buy online" as you say. What is the alternative-bit holders that screw into the rotating bit? I think I'd prefer those. Is there a wireless screwdriver that recharges uses USB-C that you'd recommend? USC-C would have been great, but I'd take micro-usb over proprietary barrel charger any day. One is that the magnetic bit holders suck. This is a homeowner tool you use this to put together junk you buy online, and for that purpose it excels. This isn't the tool to use for woodworking. Its not intended to replace or compete with 20v tool lines. I dunno if I would consider this a "DIYer" tool. You don't really have to worry about overtorqing, which is why this thing is convenient. Its pretty lightweight, and has about as much torque as hand tightening to medium tightness.
This type of tool is perfect for putting together IKEA furniture, or any other type of boxed furniture. I don't have this tool but have the non twist version. light, as easy to use as possible, some safety features maybe), I would appreciate it. If someone has any suggestions on the ideal cordless screwdriver (e.g. Ideally I would like something quite light as I just want delivery of a very conventional amount of torque in a tight space (for ease in assembling things). Could someone please advise me on buying a cordless screwdriver such as this? I am very new to DIY but I want to get into it.
